Bouquetin Ski School BOOKING CONDITIONS 2023

General Terms

Bouquetin Ski School delivers ski school products in France.  Your contract is with Bouquetin Ski School and these terms and conditions apply to all bookings and products purchased with Bouquetin Ski School.

By making a booking with Bouquetin Ski School, you agree to these terms and conditions.

-          “We”, “us” and ”instructor”, and similar references below refer to Bouquetin Ski School.

-          “You”, “client” and similar references refer to the booking contact and where applicable all session participants.

Payment

Payment must be received in full at the time of booking. We accept payment by credit card, debit card and bank transfer. At the sole discretion of Bouquetin Ski School, cash payments at the start of a lesson may be accepted subject to prior agreement. Payment shall be received in full in advance of lesson. Bouquetin Ski School reserves the right not to go ahead with any lesson that has not been fully paid in advance of the lesson commencement.

Responsibility for lift pass, equipment hire, accommodation, travel, meals and insurance remains with the clients at all times.

Considerations

Location, duration and start of lesson will be agreed during the booking process and may not be able to be changed after the booking is confirmed. Any amendments will be at the sole discretion of Bouquetin Ski School.

Clients should ensure they have an appropriate level of fitness to ensure they are safe for the type of lesson booked and the outdoor conditions at the time of the lesson. It is at the sole discretion of the instructor to undertake activities suited to the clients ability, their equipment and the conditions at the time of the lesson. Bouquetin Ski School reserves the right to change all lessons for safety reasons.

Bouquetin Ski School reserves the right to remove a client immediately from a lesson with no refund if the behaviour is deemed to be dangerous, inappropriate or under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

Bouquetin Ski School reserves the right to cancel any lesson. If we exercise this right, all lesson fees paid will be refunded in full.

 Media

Photos and video taken by your instructor during lessons may be used on the Bouquetin Ski School website and social media. You must inform us at the time of booking or inform the instructor during the lesson if you do not want your image to be taken or used.

Insurance

Responsibility for insurance remains with the clients at all times and due consideration should be given to the type of activity they have requested to undertake for example, off piste skiing.

You must insure yourself at a minimum for third party liability, personal medical and mountain rescue.

Bouquetin Ski School CANCELLATION POLICY 

Cancellations must be made in writing and sent via email to jamie@bouquetinskischool.com.

In the event of cancelation in whole or in part the following cancellation fees will apply:

More than 30 days – 20% of fee

30 to 23 days – 40% of fee

22 to 15 days –60% of fee

14 to 8 days – 80% of fee

7 or less days – 100% of fee

If Bouquetin Ski School or the client can find a replacement client for the lesson booked, Bouquetin Ski School may waive these fees.

No refund will be given by Bouquetin Ski School, in whole or in part, for unused lessons due to client late arrival, injury, medical condition or illness, resort, piste or lift closure or for any other cause outside the control of Bouquetin Ski School. No refund will be given in whole or in part if the lesson is terminated early due to the reasons above. Bouquetin Ski School encourages clients to take out appropriate insurance cover.

Article 1218 of the French Civil Code (Imprévision) will apply to this contract.

Bouquetin Ski School COVID-19 Policy

If French law requires the client to cancel the lesson due to COVID 19 and a positive COVID 19 test can be evidenced, Bouquetin Ski School will refund all unused lesson minus a 15% booking charge.

You must comply with all current local and national safety protocols.

The Bouquetin Ski School cancellation policy, (above), applies if you cancel your booking or lessons due to any other COVID-19 related event.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

This contract will be governed by French Law and any unresolved disputes will be delt with in a court in France in the French language.
